A Chicago Day for Students

Discover the Best of Chicago with your About Tours certified Chicago guide. Enjoy a bird’s eye view of the city from the Sears Tower Skydeck or the John Hancock Observatory, and later experience a totally different perspective during a cruise along the Chicago River.  Stop at Navy Pier, one of Chicago’s top attractions, for lunch and time to explore.  Go on a walking tour of Chicago’s newest treasure, Millennium Park, to see the “Bean” sculpture, the video fountain and much more. You will also visit one of Chicago’s world class museums: The Field Museum, featuring Sue, the largest tyrannosaurus rex skeleton ever found, an Egyptian tomb, and The Americas exhibits, or the Museum of Science and Industry, with the U505 Submarine, Colleen Moore’s Fairy Castle, and planes, trains and automobiles, or the Shedd Aquarium and the sharks in the aquarium’s Wild Reef. Throughout the day, your guide will point out notable sites as you travel about the city. Finish off your day with dinner at a student-friendly restaurant.
